Whether it be wedding portraits or various lifestyle sessions, I truly love all my clients. Not to mention, I cherish the relationships that I get to foster with them. I especially love when my relationships with my couples go beyond the wedding day. From maternity to newborn and family sessions, I love being able to grow with each couple as they grow their families and make those memories that last a lifetime.
Today’s session that I’m sharing on the blog includes one of those families that I’ve had the opportunity to grow alongside. I had the opportunity to photograph Mike and Emily’s wedding back in 2016, and I’m so excited that I had the chance to also recently photograph their growing family with The Shed at Westover Farms family portraits. With their sweet new baby being born just a few days ago, I couldn’t help but reminisce back to this day on the farm. Between their glowing smiles and sweet love for one another, this family session was definitely something special.
Other than the fact that the Townson family’s session is just as precious as they come, I am also excited to share this session with you because it also showcases one of West Georgia’s gorgeous brand new venues. The Shed at Westover Farms is a brand new intimate wedding and event venue that recently opened in rural Bremen, Georgia. With its gorgeous amenities and breathtaking views, it is the perfect venue for southern weddings and family affair to darling portraits.
We started the Townson family’s session off by walking around the front part of the venue’s property taking portraits among the trees and the rolling hills of land and trees. Not only were the views breathtaking. But, the three of them also glowed so bright with pure joy. It was such an honor getting to document all their excitement during their last weeks as a family of three. AJ’s excitement of becoming a big brother shined throughout our entire time together. My heart completely melted at the hugs and kisses to momma’s belly!
Meanwhile, I was super excited to have the chance to wrap up our session at The Shed at Westover Farms with some more maternity portraits of Emily. (Can we talk about how stunning she looks in that red gown?!) I can’t get over how gorgeous Emily looks with her perfect baby bump. Not to mention, I can’t get enough of how amazing her portraits look in front of that landscape. Talk about a view!
I want to finish off this blog post by saying congratulations to Mike, Emily, and AJ on the birth of their bundle of joy just a few days ago! It was such an honor to be apart of your journey by capturing these memories for you. I hope that these photographs are something that you all can look back on for a lifetime to come as a family. I can’t wait to meet your new addition! Congratulations, Mike and Emily!
